Hello,
maybe this will help you,and you will save money !
I was installing linux mint and was tired while isntalling, soi just hit next and after restart of pc i find out this ...my data partition is lost !
I choose erase whole disk...so what helps me ?
sudo apt-get install extundelete
sudo apt-get install testdisk
it will install you both,
I recovered 120GB of data with TestDisk succesfully !

Tool no 1 > extundelete !
sudo apt-get install extundelete
Tool no 2&3 > TestDisk & PhotoRec !
sudo apt-get install testdisk
it will install you both,
I recovered 120GB of data with TestDisk succesfully !
